Where to go for your All Saints' Day vacations?
Published on 9 octobre 2017Nestled between the long summer holidays and end-of-year celebrations, the Toussaint holidays are the ones during which the French go away the least. In 2016, only 17% of French people were considering going on vacation.
Several factors explain this phenomenon. First, financial constraints would not allow the French to take a break. Then comes the need to save for other expenses or the impossibility of getting days off.
Often snubbed by the French, the Toussaint holidays nevertheless offer many advantages: mild weather, better opportunities on the price of tickets or accommodations. Finally, all regions have the same school calendar, so spending holidays with family or friends has never been easier!
There is no need to necessarily go very far to take a few days of rest. The Toussaint holidays can be an opportunity to visit parts of France that we never really take the time to discover. The only downside? We cannot guarantee the weather... On the other hand, Brittany without rain, is it really Brittany? Did you say cliché?
