1. Walk to the airport of Marseille

There is nothing better to start your vacations than a sporty start and a good breath of fresh air! Located in the pretty town of Marignane, you can even admire the Etang de Berre while walking to the Marseille Provence airport! Money saved and calories eliminated, why stop yourself? Well, if you live in the city center of Marseille, you'll have to get up early to walk the 25 km but otherwise it's a good plan ;)

2. Pedal to the airport of Marignane

A sporty and faster solution than walking: The bicycle of course! With more than 1,000 self-service bicycles in downtown Marseille, you'll find about 1 bicycle every 300 meters.

To take advantage of it, you will have to go to one of the 130 stations in the city center and pay 1 euro for a short subscription (7 days) and 5 euros for a long subscription (1 year). If you're a good cyclist and your trip lasts less than 30 minutes, it's free!

3. Test the electric scooters

Tester les trottinettes électriques

For shorter trips and for speed lovers, you can go to the Marignane Airport in an electric scooter! They are available in the city center of Marseille on a self-service basis and without any terminal, what we call free floating.

To use them, you will have to download the application corresponding to the brand of the scooter (the most widespread in Marseille is Lime) and flash the QR Code present on the scooter.

You will be asked for 1 € to unlock the scooter and then you will be charged 15 cents per minute of use. Yes, that's why we specified "for short trips"!

4. Take the bus

Prendre le Bus

If sport is definitely not your cup of tea, you can always count on the bus lines to reach the Marseille Provence airport. The 017 and 040 lines drop you off next door, and it takes between 6 and 9 minutes to walk from your bus stop to the holy grail. The average price of a bus ticket in Marseille is 1.80 euros.

5. Calling a cab

To book a cab, you can call 0811 46 90 90 or 04 42 14 24 44. Count 50€ (60€ the night) for the race since the downtown area.
