Beyond these activities, the island of Cuba is ideal for discovering the coasts, small coves and the smallest islands of the country, aboard a boat and more specifically by catamaran. Sailing in Cuban waters on a catamaran is the perfect opportunity to take a short break in the Canarreos archipelago, located south of the main island.

For a week-long excursion, head to Cienfuegos (a 3-hour drive from Havana) and make your first stop in Caya Guano del Este. Then continue towards Cayo Largo to enjoy the turquoise waters of the island. On the 4th day, it will be the time to go to Cayo Rico, an ideal place for scuba diving and fishing.
