Les parkings de la gare St Jean à Bordeaux

To ensure the comfort of all travelers and especially welcome the high-speed line as it should be, the Bordeaux Saint Jean station has undergone major restructuring work. For over a year now, Bordeaux travelers have discovered the new face of their station.

1. Redevelopment of existing areas

The forecourt of the station as well as Hall 1 and 2 have been modernized. New traders were able to settle in the corridors of Hall 1: McDonald's, Hema, Moa, Le Grand Comptoir, mainly catering chains.

The two drop-off areas P1 and P2 of Bordeaux Saint-Jean station have also been renovated. They remain accessible from Charles Domercq street, coming from the Pont de Guit roundabout or from the Paludates quays. If you are coming from Cours de la Marne, you will reach the drop-off points from Saint Vincent de Paul street. Free for 10 minutes, the drop-off points are open (excluding public holidays):

👉 From Monday to Thursday from 04:45 am to 12:30 am

👉 On Friday from 04:45 am to 01:00 am

👉 On Saturday from 04:45 am to 12:00 am

👉 On Sunday from 06:00 am to 01:00 am

Attention, stops and parking on the station forecourt are not authorized and are therefore fined.

2. Free parking?

If you want to park your vehicle near the station, you will not find any street where you can park for free. Indeed, almost all the streets in Bordeaux intra-boulevards are paid. The maximum duration that can be paid at once is only 4h15 and costs 30€ (Bordeaux station is in the green zone).

3. The official station car parks

You have no choice but to head to the official parking of Bordeaux Saint Jean station (Indigo parking) located on the other side of Hall 1, on the Belcier side. Hall 3 Belcier is part of the large redevelopment project of Bordeaux station. Inaugurated at the end of April 2017, Hall 3 is a brand new access for travelers and especially for motorists. Indeed, this new entry point is topped by a 6-storey car park, with 850 parking spaces.

If you opt for this parking solution, you will need to consider:
