Les indispensables du voyage

After tackling the thorny subject of the perfect suitcase, let's go into more detail and talk about travel essentials. We don't question your adventurous spirit, but we simply suggest not forgetting certain items to ensure a wonderful trip.

It all starts with the journey. Plane, train, bus... comfort isn't always guaranteed and yet you want to sleep... Never without your inflatable pillow! It will be your best ally for all your travels, taking up very little space, nothing compared to the benefits it will provide.

As technology plays an important part in our lives today, you must absolutely bring your international adapter. And even if you want to disconnect from the world during your stay, it's necessary to charge your phone, at least to give news to your mom who's worried sick about you wandering around on your own... Little advice: choose an adapter with a USB port... nothing can stop you now!

In the same category, we also recommend a backup battery (one can never be too careful), a pair of headphones, a double jack to share music, movies and series with your partner throughout your adventure!

Albert Schweitzer said, "There are two means of forgetting the troubles of life: music and cats"... To accompany you everywhere and all the time, to liven up your evenings by the fire, on the beach, in the desert, card games with your roommates, the portable speaker will be your best friend. It's up to you now not to make mistakes with your musical choices... Whitney Houston, yes! Georges Moustaki, no!

As for the cat, I'll get back to you as soon as I know more.

For the more adventurous among you, we suggest bringing a foldable water bottle that once emptied will discreetly fit in your backpack. You'll almost forget that you've run out of water when you've only done half of that beautiful hike!

The Swiss Army Knife... it needs no introduction, but we love it. It will save you from any tricky situation on vacation: corkscrew (still, not negligible), nail clipper (yes, they grow even faster when it's hot), pliers (for removing fish bones...), knife (as the name suggests), and many other features that I'll let you discover.

The next item may not be as essential as before, but I find it so cool that I prefer to talk about it. For the craziest ones who still want to find their way with a map, or to recall the unforgettable moments of orienteering in primary school... there's the indestructible, waterproof and crumpled map! You'll impress everyone, I'm telling you.
